The Drama Club is a uniquely student run theater. It relies on four main departments to make our magic!

Haverford Pit Orchestra is the heartbeat of our musicals.

Re-started in 2025 after three years of dormancy, the Pit Orchestra brings HHS shows to another level. Live music brings our productions to life, and our talented student musicians make it all happen.

Whether you play strings, brass, percussion, or anything in between, the pit is your chance to perform in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Tech

Regional Cappy Award for Marketing, 3 years in a row!

We have received the regional Cappy award for marketing 3 years in a row since 2024! Check out our Instagram and Tiktok to see the hype!

Cappy's critic Mia reikes

"Haverford's stage crew worked swiftly, changing various student made props and set
pieces. Also working to the best of their abilities was Ella Bush on sound, with a total of 38 mics; she navigated
the complexities well, assuring that the orchestra sounded clear for the entire show."

- Mia Riekes, Cappys Critic

Independence Award Critic

"Most of all, I was struck by the way this company supported one another and kept the storytelling alive
under pressure. That is a meaningful theatrical skill, and it speaks well of the culture of this program. There is real
joy, commitment, and potential here. In a competitive season, this production showed strong
ensemble spirit, effective staging, and a company willing to rise to the demands of the moment."

Before he even said his first line, when
he walked onstage you knew exactly what kind of man he was and what he was about. He had great comedic
timing while also keeping the character grounded and truthful. While he was only onstage for a short time, this
performance was definitely one of the most impressive of the night!
As Elle's Dad, Logan had this delightful, larger-than-life quality that I enjoyed. He balanced his stage
business well with giving Elle just enough of his attention to let her know he was invested in what she was
saying (but this was still his very important golf time).
